A Sunny Day at Kolsåstoppen

We took a break from our usual routines and went on a group hike to Kolsåstoppen — a place that’s quickly becoming one of our favorite spots. This was actually our second time hiking there. The first visit greeted us with heavy clouds, and it felt like we were standing above them, completely surrounded by mist. It was surreal and beautiful in its own way, but we couldn't see much of the view.

This time, though, the weather couldn’t have been better. It was sunny and clear, and from the top, we had a stunning view over the surrounding forests all the way to the fjord. The trail was just challenging enough to be fun, and reaching the top made it all worth it.

We had a relaxed picnic above the summit, sharing food, snacks, and a lot of laughs. There’s something about sitting on a rock with good people, good food, and an incredible view that makes the experience special. It was a great way to enjoy nature, take a break from the screens, and spend time together outside the lab.
