Julia Wilhelmine Kluwer
I am a Ph.D. student at the Saatcioglu Lab, Department of Biosciences, University of Oslo UiO). I hold a BSc degree in Biosciences from UiO. My research interests include stress signaling pathways in cancer, with a special focus on endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress signaling. In particular, I am working on elucidating the regulators and functions of FAM129A, a protein whose expression is activated during ER stress, mainly focusing on characterizing its interactome. When not in the lab, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family, as well as taking long walks with my dog in the park. I also love travelling, listening to music and singing.
